ABOUT US
Chris Stacey is the President of Sapphire Consulting. She has over twenty years of experience in marketing, fundraising, and organizational development, serving clients such as Children’s National Medical Center, the Smithsonian Institution, the ALS Association, Share Our Strength, the Global Fund for Children, Jubilee Housing, Food & Friends, and Georgetown University Medical Center. Chris started Sapphire Consulting in 2003 and has worked closely with over 90 clients since then, many on multi-year engagements. She is a quick study, listens well, effectively assesses challenges and opportunities, is data-driven, communicates clearly, and creatively solves problems.
Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Chris worked in corporate recruiting for clients such as Microsoft; PricewaterhouseCoopers; Deloitte & Touche; Booz Allen Hamilton; Wiley, Rein & Fielding; and RTKL Associates.
Chris graduated from Yale with degrees in Environmental Studies and American Studies. She is a member of Leadership Greater Washington and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She teaches piano as a volunteer at Sitar Arts Center and serves on several community boards.
